Spectra, Inc. has been a Quality Air Control client for (9) years. We designed the first Clean Room as a Class 10,000 facility. It is still in use today in its original form. QAC systems are selected for the long haul. With proper maintenance, they will outlast the processes done in them.
This latest Clean Room project is a Class 10,000 retrofit of existing space, measuring 1200 plus or minus square feet. They are using it for the final assembly and testing of Spectra products. The installed environmental systems control temperature, humidity and operate at a sound level well within the OSHA limits. Associated upgrades in servicing the new room include drainage, up sizing the oil fired boiler plant and new power panels.
This project was constructed using the fast track method, finished two weeks ahead of schedule and qualified one class cleaner than design.
