This project consisted of replacing an existing soft wall cleanroom to a state of the art cleanroom facility for optical device contracts. The project featured a new envelope with metal panel walls, new clean air delivery system designed to meet a demanding sound specification and an "occupied/in-operation" room qualification.
ISO Class 6
Cleanroom upgrades as required by this government contract facility for optical device assembly and test. QAC provided design and installation to facilitate new spaces and upgrade existing spaces to clean classification. Renovations included architectural upgrades, HVAC duct modifications, new boilers and relocating existing air conditioners.
ISO Class 7 & 8
Multiple upgrades and expansion projects over 10+ years focused on a growing company's needs for additional space and process equipment. Projects include Cleanroom systems expansions for HVAC, mechanical and plumbing as well as modifications for reducing energy consumption.
ISO Class 6 & 7
QAC has worked as the mechanical design builder for DOW Chemical's construcion team for 9+ years. Projects include cleanrooms from ISO Class 4 with tight temperature and humidity specifications to relocating facilities in their multiple plants.
ISO Class 4, 6 & 7
A properly designed cleanroom is certified to class in many areas including cleanliness, particle size and count, temperature, humidity, light level, sound level, room pressure and airflow.
