This Class 100 Clean Room is an upgrade of an existing Photo and Thin Film Clean Room at the Systems facility. This was a fast track project with the surrounding clean rooms remaining in operation. The complete construction of the clean room occurred with little disruption to its surroundings and without the need for a facility shut down.
Using the Design-Build team approach, contractors were selected based on their clean room design and construction abilities, and their familiarity with the facility. Along with ideas from the owner and contractors, the QAC Engineering Department generated construction documents.
The whole time, we held weekly design/construction meetings with the owner and construction team. This provided the communication and coordination required for the successful completion of the project. This project was successfully completed on time and within budget. Whether it is new construction, retrofit, or an add-on such as this, QAC has the ability and experience to meet your clean room needs.
